Clean Water

VCFD will fund easily available filtration systems for individuals, families, and small groups of people. The filters will remove 99.99% of all pathogens, including viruses, bacteria, and parasites. They also will remove heavy metals and other contaminants.
The newest technology has created sea container size water generation systems that are mobile, can be powered by solar panel electrical generators, do not require a typical water source, and are capable of producing enough daily water for 100 people. These can be deployed at mining sites, villages, etc.
VCFD through the Development Fund intends to provide funding to assist local governments in the acquisition of large scale filtration systems.

Housing

VCFD will create strategic alliances for housing and infrastructure projects.
VCFD’s dredge mining operations will provide sand and material for the production of bricks. This will allow local populations to be involved in local building projects including housing.

Education

Through VCFD’s development fund we will provide funding for tables, chairs teachers, potable water, and bathrooms. Educational computers and white board will likewise be provided.

In coordination with the VCFD sponsored artisan mining cooperatives and other mining entities, a plan will be devised to utilize funds to pay current child miners to go to school rather than working in the mines.
This will benefit the children, raise the literacy rate, provide a base for future higher levels of education, and ensure ethically based mining operations. It will eliminate international concerns about unethically mined commodities and will enhance the economy by opening up international markets that are currently closed because of child labor being associated to high value minerals.

Agriculture

VCFD will enhance agricultural crop programs, initiate aquaculture fresh water fish farms, provide agricultural training, and provide agricultural equipment to the people of DR Congo.
